personally,I am in disbelief that people will say regarding the issue of marijuana, "we have bigger fish to fry". Although it is true that people make mistakes and something like marijuana possession should not affect them,i still feel that a proper punishment should be administered for the action unless required for health problems. if people are not punished other marijuana users wouldn't bother much about the outcome of using marijuana.
ReplyDeleteFrom my own point of view, I think anything is termed illegal if taken in excess. Even the food we eat becaomes poisonous if consumed in excess. talking about Marijuana, I believe that it should not be termed illegal because it is a natural plant that can grow on any fertile soil. The concern should be the quantity of consumption because marijuana is used as medication to treat a kind of nerve problem. If it is termed illegal, why is it an approval in the FDA for medical consumption? People arrested with humongous amounts need to be penalised. Marijuana, heroin, or any class D drugs kills the brain cells and eventually resulting to memory loss. In most cases the population tageted and the minority becasue they will like to use it as a mask to get around doing things out of the norms.
